Supporting Features for the International Automotive Complex Project

Various projects are under way in the Port of Mikawa area to support the International Automotive Complex Project.

1.Redevelopment of the Toyohashi Station Area The Toyohashi Station area is being redeveloped as a key point for traffic linking the western and eastern parts of Japan. The Tokaido Shinkansen Line and other important transportation routes pass through this area.	2.Toyohashi Municipal Hospital Toyohashi Municipal Hospital is designed as a large facility (920 beds) for providing advanced medical care. Not only Japanese, but English as well can be used at the hospital.
3.Toyohashi General Sports Park Toyohashi General Sports Park, now under construction in the seaside area, features an international stadium, track and field grounds, and a pool.	4.Marine Resort Facilities A marine resort area, featuring an America's Cup entrant's base camp and other facilities, is under construction in the waterfront area.

Development of the Jinno-Shinden District A development plan is being prepared for the Jinno-Shinden District, in the direct vicinity of the Port of Mikawa. The plan, coordinated with port development, involves constructing facilities for business, distribution and residence.
