Overview of the International Automotive Complex Project

The International Automotive Complex Project is a plan to develop a gateway (entrance point) to Japan for foreign automotive companies. In the following, we will explain this Project, with its site near the Port of Mikawa, the leading port for automobile imports into Japan.

1.Preparation of Conditions for Distribution by Land, Sea, and Air Taking advantage of the site's advantageous location in central Japan, ports (namely, the Port of Mikawa), highways (Tomei Expressway, Second Tomei Expressway) and airports (Chubu International Airport), essential to the distribution of completed automobiles and parts, will be developed in a coordinated manner. 2.Arrangement of the business Exchange Places between Japanease Companies and Foreign Companies An environment will be prepared that will make it easy for foreign companies to locate here and, as a key business point, to communicate with other companies in the Chubu area, the center of automobile manufacturing in Japan. 3.Improvement of the Region to Support Corporate Strategies While Considering the Environment
